Family Fun Hike with the Ranger – Cancelled

CANCELLED June 2 @ 3:00 pm — 5:00 pm

Explore Laurel Canyon Trail on this family fun hike (ages 8 and up). Join the park ranger for a one to two-mile walk in the wilderness to the top of Laurel Falls and back and learn what makes our wilderness such a special place. Learn about the plants and animals in the park and interesting “clues” that tell us what special animals call Laguna Coast Wilderness Park their home. Learn about the special plants that are native to our wilderness, their unique adaptations for survival, and which ones are edible and beneficial to us. Wear sturdy hiking footwear, bring plenty of water, a hat, and sunscreen. 700-foot moderate elevation gain with some sections with steep rocky terrain.
