Geology Hike – Dilley

Join us for a look into the park’s landscapes during the past 25 million years. We will see evidence of ancient volcanic activity, shifting sea floor sands, clam fossils telling us of a shallow bay, ancient faults and earthquakes, recent landslides, and formation of our sandstone caves.
Location: James Dilley Preserve (405 South to 133 south to stoplight at 73 turn-off; make U-turn, go 1 block. Dilley is on the right)
