In partnership with OC Parks, Laguna Canyon Foundation staff and volunteers lead hikes, bike rides, and programs throughout Laguna Coast, Aliso and Wood Canyons, and Laguna Niguel parks. From health and fitness hikes and rides to family programs and naturalist-led interpretive hikes, we offer something for everyone!
HEALTH AND FITNESS The South Coast Wilderness is a perfect place to exercise your mind and body. Our fitness hikes and bike rides range from easy to moderate on flat to elevated trails. If you are looking to center yourself, come out for a Yoga program.
FAMILY PROGRAMS IN THE PARK Our family hikes are especially designed for people of all ages to enjoy and connect with nature and each other. We have a wide range of programs for new parents looking to bring a child out to their first outing, tots interacting with the wilderness and entire families hiking together.
INTREPRETIVE HIKES There is a wide world of ecology, biology, geology and more that you can learn about while hiking in the wilderness. Join certified Naturalists as they lead you to discover what makes the South Coast Wilderness so special.
Keep It Wild – Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park
May 4 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am
Join Laguna Canyon Foundation and OC Parks for our habitat restoration stewardship in Aliso and Wood Canyons. We’ll learn and work together to create a healthier home for the park’s native plants and wildlife. Depending on the time of year, volunteers may assist with: removal of non-native plants, seed collection, planting of native plants and/or trash pick-up along the creek. No experience necessary and tools provided. Please wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, sun protection and bring water. Join the team to help restore the wild lands we all enjoy!
