“Our public lands are more than just places to visit—they are woven into the fabric of our everyday lives. From the trails we hike to the parks where we gather with family and friends, these spaces are our collective backyard, our shared front porch, our natural playground.” – National Environmental Education Foundation.

To celebrate National Public Lands Day, Laguna Canyon Foundation and OC Parks are hosting 3 events where volunteers can choose to give back to our public lands:
- Help care for native plants at Keep It Wild – Aliso and Wood Canyons
- Help care for and grow native plants at Keep It Wild – LCF Native Plant Nursery
- Help document our local flora and fauna at a BioBlitz! – James Dilley Preserve
Laguna Canyon Foundation respectfully acknowledges that these events are held on the traditional lands of the Acjachemen (Juaneño) and Tongva (Gabrielino) peoples, who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
Follow the links for more information and to register for the events. Please contact volunteer@lagunacanyon.org with any questions. We hope to see you there!
