Advocacy
Laguna Canyon and the surrounding South Coast Wilderness hold some of the most sensitive habitats in the world. Designated as a biodiversity hotspot, just like the Amazon Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, our coastal sage scrub is some of the last of its kind and supports native flora and fauna, including hundreds of threatened and endangered species.
With increased trail use, urbanization and drought our very special parks are under threat. We all have a responsibility to protect the land we love so much.
