Earth Day is Every Day

In our current society people are often more connected with their cell phones than the plants and animals living right alongside them. Children are more likely to be able to name a corporate brand name them a native tree in their areas.

Most people have forgotten that we humans are not separate from nature, but we are in fact part of nature just as much as these flowers, butterfly, and hawk.

It takes just a moment of connection in nature to remember the wildness that runs through our veins. We feel it in the glow of a sunny day, the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of soil in our hands.

When we acknowledge this sacred connection, we understand that everything good and bad that is done to the planet is also done to us.
