Dan grew up in Irvine enjoying fresh produce and regular visits to the beach. After graduating from UCI, Dan moved to beautiful northern Michigan. The four seasons in Michigan allowed Dan to experience camping, hiking, skiing and water sports in a completely new environment. Dan and his wife have two adult children who both live in southern California. He also enjoys reading, traveling, hiking and visiting the beaches of Orange County.
