Yen is a Field Educator from Orange County who is passionate about sharing the joy and wonder of the outdoors with students and inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards. They recently graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a degree in Marine Biology and a minor in Environmental Science & Policy. Before joining the LCF team, Yen gained experience in research labs, water quality monitoring, and science communication. When not tide-pooling or swimming at the beach, Yen enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons, spending time with her cats, and crafting.
